Cap and Scroll
1923-1997
AC 382
Cap and Scroll, the Women's Honor Society, began in 1923. The purpose of the organization is to recognize a student's college spirit as demonstrated through activities and scholarship. Membership is limited to senior women. In the 1924 Artemisia, it was listed as Athenades.
This collection consists of a small binder which has typed copies of the constitution, by-laws, and initiation procedures of the organization. In addition, each woman signed her name in the book. Also included is a Cap and Scroll pin, with the Greek letters AOH, Alpha Theta Eta.
For preservation reasons, the binder was removed and placed into a separate envelope.
During the annual induction of members, the records may be removed from the Archives for use during the ceremony.
