Harry Michael Chase, Jr. (April 11, 1924-August 12, 1996) served for 25 years as a member of the political science faculty at the University of Nevada, Reno. After retiring in 1981, he made his home in San Francisco. He was the author of several studies of American foreign policy.

This collection is a program and a video cassette of the memorial service held at the University on September 27, 1996. Speakers at the service are President Joseph Crowley, Don Driggs, Leo McFadden, Ty Cobb, and Larry Struve. In his remarks, Crowley tells the history of the political science department.
