Wolf Pack Women's BoostHER Club, 1984-1993
Records
AC 368
The Wolf Pack Women's BoostHER Club was founded in December 1983, to provide greater recognition and encouragement for the woman's sports programs, and to supplement funding. In April 1993, according to the newsletter, the University of Nevada's Women's Athletic Support Group, formerly known as the BoostHERS, was changed to Club Wolf Pack and became the official support group to the University of Nevada's Women's Athletic Department.
The records in this collection, primarily the minutes and newsletters, document the efforts to raise funds and recognition for women athletics at the university. The records primarily cover 1984-1987, when the group was the BoostHERS. Also included are Articles of Incorporation, names of program supporters, letters soliciting support, and forms for the organization.
