Library Services Summer 2008
Getchell and the Life and Health Sciences Libraries officially begin their move to the new
Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2008. Getchell
will be closed to the public from Saturday May 17th through Monday May 19th.
Beginning Tuesday, May 20th, basic services — such as circulation, reference and computing help, and document delivery — will be provided on the main floor of Getchell Library. Access to the building will be available solely through the entrance on the main floor. The Knowledge Center will open August 11, 2008. Getchell will close permanently at that time.
The list below indicates where services will be available.

- Request, pickup, and return materials from the Main Library, Link +, Document Delivery, Business & Government Information
Center, and Multimedia Center at the Getchell Library circulation desk.
How to request a book from one of these locations - Check your books in and out — Getchell, DeLaMare, Life & Health circulation desks
- Photocopy service (on Wolfcard) — Getchell. DeLaMare, Life & Health, LRC (College of Education)
- Reserves (paper and online) in the Getchell storefront, DeLaMare Library, and the Life & Health Sciences Library
- Reserves (Multimedia Center) — Getchell Circulation Desk
- Reference Information/Help — Getchell at the Research & Computing Help Desk
- Dataworks — poster printing, software, assistance, etc. — Getchell at the Research & Computing Help Desk
- Microfilm/Microfiche Reader — Getchell
- Study areas — Getchell (no quiet study), DeLaMare, Life & Health, and the Joe Crowley Student Union.
- Special Collections, Basque Collection and Government Documents will be available only by prior appointment.

- Handicapped access to Getchell - Access to Getchell will only be available on the main floor of the building. Use the ramp on the west side of the building.
