This images used in this website were scanned at 2710 ppi to create an archival image of approximately 22 mb. The deteriorating condition of many of the slides required image manipulation in PhotoShop CS2 to create an image as close as possible to the original. All of the original slides in the Reifschneider Collection are housed in the Special Collections Department of the University of Nevada, Reno Library using the highest possible archival standards.
