SCOPE AND CONTENT

The collection consists of a manuscript, correspondence, and research notes for Scott's book on the history of the United States census, Census, U.S.A.: Fact Finding for the American People, 1790-1970. (New York: Seabury Press [1968]). The collection consists of 2.5 cubic feet and was donated on behalf of Ms. Scott by Dr. Elmer Rusco. Copyright was retained by the author.
