Linking to full-text articles in EBSCO databases (Academic Search Premier, PsycInfo, etc.)

  1. Search the database to find your article
  2. From the article or marked list screen, click the save button
  3. On the Save Manager screen, make sure HTML link(s) to article(s) is checked.  You can save multiple durable links from this screen.

  4. One the following screen, you’ll see persistent URL for this article. That’s your durable URL to use.

  5. Highlight (click and drag) and copy (control + c) the URL to get the direct hyperlink to the article.
Notice the proxy re-write information is there: (0-search.epnet.com.innopac.library.unr.edu)
  6. Add the URL into your WebCT course or other Web page.  If you have a bunch of articles, it's probably better to create a blank web page.  WebCT doesn't allow you much room for explanations and descriptions.
