Physical Sciences Library

The Physical Sciences Library at UNR has been merged into the DeLaMare Library located in the Mackay Mines Building (#057). Please contact the DeLaMare Library for assistance at 784-6945.

The Physical Sciences collection has a new home but the content of the collection will remain focused on chemistry and physics. We currently have approximately 140 journal subscriptions and 30,000 monographic volumes. We continue to add new titles and new years of coverage to our online journal access. This spring the backfiles (to volume 1 in most cases) of the Royal Society of Chemistry journals were purchased providing perpetual access to archive material from 55 titles.  In addition, online access was obtained for Synlett and Synthesis as well as a brand new subscription to Laser and Particle Beams.  All our online titles are available through links in the online catalog or through the "Find Journal" section of the Library website.

Electronic resources in the Physical Sciences library include access to the Libraries' online catalog and web-accessible databases, such as Chemical Abstracts (SciFinder Scholar,) INSPEC and Web of Science (Science Citation Index). Nearly all of our current journals subscriptions, and thousands more titles are available electronically.  Additionally, many of our major reference works, including the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics and Dictionary of Organic Compounds are now online via the CHEMnetBASE database.
