Requesting books and other materials from

 

In order to get materials out of the collections, users will need to request those in advance.  You can do this in person, at the  Getchell, Delamare, or Life and Health Sciences service desks or online. You may also call us at 682-5625 to have us make the request for you.

To make a request from the online Library Catalog

Click the Request button on the item you wish to retrieve.  It will be paged and brought to the circulation desk within 24 hours. Materials housed within Getchell will be on hold in Getchell. Materials from other libraries will be held in their home locations.  An e-mail will go to your UNR account to let you know they are available. 

Some materials can not be retrieved during some parts of the summer.  Those will be requested through Link+ or document delivery and will take longer than 24 hours.  You will be notified by phone and/or email under those circumstances.
