Library Services Summer 2008
What is the Research & Computing Help Desk?
The Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center will integrate many Information Technology and Library units to provide streamlined services to the campus community. One of the biggest and most exciting collaborations is the IT/User Services Help Desk and the Library Research Services department at a joint Research & Computing Help desk. The new Research & Computing Help desk will officially open in the Knowledge Center August 11, 2008.
Beginning in March 2008 the IT Help Desk and Research Services department will work together at a temporary combined research and computing service desk on the main floor of Getchell Library. Students, faculty, staff and visitors will be able to get a "one-stop-shopping" experience for both computing and research needs and provide feedback on the new streamlined services before they officially open in the Knowledge Center.
