You may search or browse the
Index to the Nineteenth Century Collection by author, title, subject and several other database fields. If you need
help searching the collection, go to the
HELP page.
You may also use the printed indexes to the Nineteenth Century Collection, located
on the Microforms Index Table in the Reference Area of the Main Library.

- Once you have displayed a list of results from your search, click on
a title link to view a complete description of the item:

- The Nineteenth Century Collection is housed in the Main Library in
two cabinets near the Reference Desk in the Microfiche area (Microfiche collection number
C23). Locate the publication in the file according to its Fiche number.
- You may view and print microfiche using the reader/printers behind
the microfiche cabinets. You may use a VendaCard to make copies from the microfiche
(these are sold at the Circulation Desk).
- Ask at the Reference Desk if you need assistance using the
equipment.
- When finished, place the microfiche in a return box in the Microfilm/Microfiche area.
