Douglas Unger

Douglas Unger teaches English at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and received the Society of Medland Authors award for fiction for his novel Leaving the Land (1995), which was also nominated for the Pulitzer Prize and the Robert F. Kennedy award. Unger's other works include El Yanqui, The Turkey War (1988), and Voices from Silence: A Novel of Repression and Terror in Argentina (1995).
