nila northSun is a Nevada born Chippewa-Shoshone, daughter of Native
American activist Adam Fortunate Eagle. Her most recent books of poetry are

graduate of the University of Montana, she lives in Fallon where she directs
Stepping Stones, a shelter for at-risk native American teens. nila was recently
appointed to the Nevada Arts Council.
