Teresa Jordan

Teresa Jordan writes of the West, ranching, cowgirls and women of the West. Her memoir, Riding the White Horse Home (1993), is a masterpiece of nostalgia and introspection. Jordan also edited Cowgirls: Women of the American West (1982), Graining the Mare: The Poetry of Ranch Women (1994), and The Stories that Shape Us: Contemporary Women Write About the West (1995). She lives on a ranch near Elko, Nevada.
