Linda Hussa

Linda Hussa is the author of
two books of poetry, Where the Wind Lives (Peregrine Smith, 1994), Ride the Silence (Black Rock Press,
1995). Her most recent, Lige Langston: Sweet Iron (University of Oklahoma Press, 1999), is the story of a
western buckaroo, which blends oral history, storytelling and poetry.
Linda is a frequent participant in writing workshops and poetry readings and has been a featured reader at Western Folklife Center's Cowboy Poetry Gathering. She and her husband live on a working ranch in Cedarville, California on the edge of Nevada’s Black Rock Desert.
