Shaun T. Griffin has published four books of poetry:

• Bathing in the River of Ashes (Univ. of NV Press, 1999)
• Snowmelt (Rainshadow Editions, Black Rock Press, 1994)
• Under Red-Tailed Sky (Black Rock Press, 1995)
• Words I Lost at Birth (Frosty Morning, 1981)

Anthologies containing his poems include Desert Wood: An Anthology of Nevada Poets (Univ. of NV Press, 1991) and Seven Nevada Poets (Rainshadow Editions, Black Rock Press, 1991).

He is the editor of The River Underground: An Anthology of Nevada Fiction (Univ. of NV Press, 2001) and translated Emma Sepulveda-Pulvirenti's poems into English, Death to Silence - Muerte al Silencio (Arte Publico Press, 1997).
