Rental and Renewal Policy

A valid UNR library card is required to check out materials.
Loan Periods
- Videos, DVDs, and music CDs - 3 days; one renewal
- Books-on-Tape - 7 days; one renewal
There is a $1.00 per day late charge for all overdue items checked out of the Multimedia Center.
All materials are due as marked. The second overdue notice will be a bill for the replacement cost of the item, processing fee, and a billing fee.

Item Charge: $100.00 (Minimum replacement cost for loss of overdue item)
Processing Fee: $ 10.00
Billing Fee: $ 10.00
Total: $120.00
When the item is returned, the charge is reduced to the $10.00 billing fee.
Borrowing privileges are suspended when charges are $5.00 or more.
Return all materials to the Multimedia Center or Media Return Box outside the Multimedia Center door. DO NOT put items returned in the book drop outside the library.
Out of State Rentals are for Continuing Education students only.

Media items cannot be renewed online. To renew media items checked out, please call the Multimedia Center at (775) 682-5413 during operating hours. After hours, call the same number and leave a message that includes your name and library barcode number.
